Ready, set, play! Engage your brain and boost your skills with this game of math fact speed!

    • Use a deck of cards to work on math facts
    • Begin by shuffling the deck thoroughly. Next, split the deck evenly between the players, so each person has an equal number of cards.
    • To start the game, each player flips over two cards from their deck and places it face-up in the center. Players must quickly add, subtract or multiply the values of the two cards together and call out the answer. The first person to say the correct answer keeps all 4 cards. The person with the most cards in the end wins!
    • If both players call out the correct answer at the same time, or if there is a dispute, set the next set of cards on top of these. The player who wins the next round also takes the disputed cards.
    • Continue playing until one player has collected all the cards, or set a time limit and see who has the most cards when time runs out.
    • Variation: is each person goes through their stack at their own pace. They only see who can go through their whole deck first. This variation is good for kids who do not want to feel too much pressure.

This game not only makes practicing math facts fun but also helps improve speed and accuracy in mental math.
