Exploring Australia at Our International Day Booth

Our International Day celebration brought the spirit of Australia to life with a colorful and interactive booth that transported visitors straight to the Land Down Under! As guests approached, they were greeted by the iconic Australian flag proudly displayed, setting the stage for an authentic experience.

The booth featured a vibrant poster showcasing breathtaking landmarks like the Sydney Opera House, the Great Barrier Reef, sun-kissed beaches, and a collection of popular Australian sayings. To make the experience hands-on and engaging for kids, the booth included stuffed animals of Australia’s most beloved wildlife—koalas, kangaroos, and wombats.

Visitors were invited to watch an iPad video playing clips of Australian landmarks and unique animals in their natural habitats. The booth also offered children’s books, including Bluey, picture books about Australia, and pictures of Australian sports players.

For a truly immersive experience, guests could explore authentic items like sports jerseys, a boomerang, and a didgeridoo, giving them a sense of traditional Australian culture. To top it all off, the booth provided a snack where visitors could taste Vegemite on crackers or enjoy a piece of Australian licorice. Everyone was either surprised by how much they loved or did not like the taste of Vegemite.

The booth was a hit with families, offering a fun, educational, and interactive way to celebrate Australia’s rich culture and natural beauty. It left everyone with a new appreciation for the diverse and fascinating country on the other side of the world.
